Since I don’t have access to a tablet and am too lazy to scan a drawing, have a (not exactly) summary haiku.Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween ( Meitantei Conan: Halloween no Hanayome), the 25th anime film in the Detective Conan franchise, ranked at #1 in its opening weekend. I mean, I realize this is a Detective Conan movie, but seriously, none of the other characters really played an important part throughout the entire thing. It would’ve been better if they somehow included the other characters more. On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate this episode?ĥ. Higashi-sawabukuro (東沢袋) is the only station missing since last time. Nishi-sugame (西巣亀) (back to its normal name since last time).This time we have an added station: Haido Station. …Sooo the Loop Line’s changed yet again since we last saw it in A Friend of Justice. We’ll see it focused on in the next Magic File, but we’ve previously encountered it in The Hooligan’s Labyrinth. What’s one thing you noticed/realized about this episode that you hadn’t before?įlashback to that one scene with middle school Shin'ichi and a younger Higo again. “All right! I’ve finally gotten a scoop!” Never thought I’d say it, but Conan did too much in this movie. :| The DB get to shine at the tail end but everyone else’s part in this movie is basically forgettable. Pretty much no one except Conan gets to do anything interesting this entire movie. (I’m gonna let the CG soccer players and random people slide.) The CG soccer balls stand out WAYYYYYY too much in every single scene they’re in. Nothing in particular about this scene, but I love the ending song, “Haru Uta”.

“Hi I’m Conan Edogawa and this is Jackass.” Although I guess just Hide since Sanada specifically calls Hide his rival. :3 He’s basically the Heiji to Higo and Hide. Not sure what I’ll end up pointing out, but you can look at comments I made during a liveblog of the movie back in December 2012 here.Īh, yet again, perhaps the best CG we’ll see in this film. ….Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhh………………………….Cute soccer fanboy Conan, but no one else gets to do anything remotely interesting…introduce new soccer player, but don’t get to see but so much of him…Conan saves the day again, but breaks every single law of physics in the process…eeeeehhhhhhhhhhhh…………….
